I used earlier versions of Naturally Speaking (Version 5&9), but I was not happy with the lengthy training and errors. Version 11 works far better out of the box than the earlier versions and required little training to achieve even better accuracy. Most of my current issues such as switching between commands and dictation are due to my own limited usage. I bought version 11.5 instead of the current version 12 because of the reviews that complained that it was very slow.

Loved this thing, i went thru so many external 56k modems on my laptop with dial-up internet kept pulling the wires out of it. This thing solved everything. Highly recommended if you live in an area where your stuck to dial-up. And it might not be that bad if you have an office with multiple fax machines instead of buying a modem for each.

i’m updating a prior review.
Since I bought this product Intuit has discontinued development of Quicken. They are supposed to sell it to some other vendor. I’ve never seen a software sale of this magnitude work. For that reason alone this would be a two star rather than three star purchase.
What takes it down to 1 star is that today I’m getting Quicken emails about spending patterns. I did not (knowingly) enable online access to my accounts.
