Once my IT expert set it up the NAS has run flawlessly. Good peace of mine! We have not expanded it to 4 TB because we do video - Large files!

I switched to MAC when the Intel processors became available. I was a Windows fan before that and didn’t realize what I was missing. Now that I have Leopard life is sweet. Everything works and works well. That is something I could never say about Windows. Guess what folks, I got the full blown version for way less than the basic version of Vista! Enough said.

I love the ease with which I can switch to Windows. Although, the more I use my Mac the less I use Windows. Parallels is a little processor intensive but not to the point at which it is bothersome.

I was not a power user of Office. I did a newsletter or two and a few other things for some clubs and the like. I was contemplating buying the new Office when it came out. Instead I bought I Work and now I can’t justify spending the money. It will do all that an average user will need and then some. the only complaint I have is it won’t do postal barcodes on the envelopes like Office.

Let’s face it: a lot of computer-assisted instruction is just plain lame or worse.
They can suffer from either being rote memorization schemes or over-glorified games or simply textbooks in electronic form.
Rare is a system that truly utilizes what computers can do best to solidly teach concepts.
Rosetta Stone delivers.
It teaches language using multiple sensory inputs (picture & voice) and multiple feedback mechanisms (your voice and hand-eye choices). It is able to adjust and compensate for your learning speed and strengths on the fly.

I am a casual photographer but one who enjoys refining and playing with my images. I’m a Mac user and take most of my shots with an iPhone 6+. So what does AfterShot offer the casual photographer compared to other products?nnCompared to the Mac native Photos app: it has more precise and extensive image editing and the ability to edit RAW images, but the interface is clunky and confusing compared to other programs.

I have children 14, 11, and 9, and I was looking for software that would appeal to their creative side. I am a fairly sophisticated software user, and used to do some programming myself, but had never really ventured into these type of painting/art programs.
Bottom Line: I was blown away by this program, totally impressed!!nnWhy?nn#1 It’s easy to use out of the box— many of the controls are easy enough to figure out just by using them, it installs easy on both Mac and PC systems (I installed the program on both an old eMac and a low end Vista laptop successfully).

If you own a PC, I hope you realize that protection against internet threats is not only a good idea, but absolutely essential. If you don’t have your PC protected, it is only a matter of time before it is corrupted.
So, if you’re a typical PC user, which protection software do you choose? They are all good, but I liked the ease of installation of PC Tools and its easy to understand & navigate structure.

I was excited about getting and reviewing this product, because I had recently bought an iPhone and wanted a good way to load movies on it. I already been using an earlier version of another Roxio product, Popcorn.
So, let’s say you’re the average person who has a iPod or iPhone and wants to take those DVDs you have in your library and view them on your handheld wonder. Roxio Crunch does that, right?
