Installation went well but as soon as I get in and start using this, it starts crashing. I’ve visited the Corel webpage and I’m not finding anything helpful, just some .DLL replacement suggestions. My computer never crashes, only with Corel software (oddly, I have issues with their Blu-ray playing software as well). After fighting with it for an afternoon I uninstalled and never looked back.

The thing that interested me the most in this product was that you could install it on three computers. That is perfect because that is how many computers my home office/game room has. But there are better products out there. If the idea was that you only needed one product and this was it, then Microsoft really missed the boat. Virus definitions seem a bit behind Kaspersky and others and the fact that it doesn’t block SPAM like other software is a bit alarming.

Easy to use. I like that you can use it on your computer but also learn more by transferring lessons to your iPod and learning while on the go. I learned a little bit but it didn’t completely hold my attention or make me feel immersed. Granted, I should have tried this more but nothing compelled me to keep coming back to it.

I’ve had previous versions, it is nice to stay up to date, especially when this costs as much as a three month basic membership at Ancestry, it just means keeping up to date while keeping the same services.

This product seemed easy to work with. I found it so easy, I bought another copy for my Dad as a gift when he expressed interest in genealogy. I’ve used earlier version and they seem to just get better… easier on the eyes and more intuitive to use. I’ve got no real complaints, this seems to work quite well. I’ve read other reviews saying that FTM can wipe out your tree.

I’ve got two accounts, so it was nice to upgrade both of them, though I only got 3 months out of the other version because I didn’t get that one in Platinum. This version also has some photo editing the other one didn’t have, so… bonus.

I got this product because I’m an amateur photographer and thought it might be a nice tool to have alongside Photoshop. That being said, my artistic ability is pretty low and I was hoping a too like this could help me out. And, to a point, it did. I think it helped me to add a little creativity to some of my pictures but this does not turn somebody into an instant artist.

I’m not sure what it is with me and Corel products, but I couldn’t even get this to run. I would run through the install process and when I ran it I would get nothing. I tried installing a few times to avail. I’m running Windows 7 and don’t know if that had something to do with it, but it is the only program I’ve had these problems with. Corel support was useless.
