The installation of this program went smooth with no problems whatsoever (Windows XP with Service Pack 2). While this is basically a scaled down version of Corel’s professional product, ParitnerX, it still has a tremendous number of options and abilities that are more than enough to meet the needs of the home or hobby user. My original review follows but since so many people are having problems with this product I thought I would share some helpful advice based on my experience. My original review was based on working with an XP machine and nothing attached but my video source, MP3 player and portable video device (one at a time). It worked flawless. Now that I have worked with it more I have had some of the same frustrations others have expressed but have located the source of the problem.

Let me start with what I like about this program. The way it connects to and uses Ancestry.com. Well that was easy enough. That portion of the program is excellent. You can connect, find what you need, have it automatically inserted into the right place and lots of other wonderful things with Ancestry.com. This allows you to build a family tree quickly and is tremendously helpful if you are new or just recently started building your history.

Quite simply the best. I tried various other ones over the years and they never come up to the level of Family Tree Maker. That is not to say that they have not made some missteps because they have. One version was so slow that it was basically unusable if you have a large file. Not so with the last few iterations. It still starts slow but apparently that is in exchange for working at a decent speed once it is up and running.

This is a great program that can be downloaded from LibreOffice.org and a compatible program that is just as free can be downloaded from OpenOffice.org If you want this program, you can get the updated version from LibreOffice.org This is version 4.3 and the one from LibreOffice.org is already 5.0

This software is the same as the 360 Total Security - Free Antivirus & Internet Security for PC 2017 [Download] also available on Amazon. Both download the same installation from the same host. These are great programs. I use Advanced System Care from iobit.com too. Somehow, this program disabled the Advanced System Care program. Other than that. I love it.
