I have used WEBROOT before but stopped because I figured I could pay less for something that was as good. Bad idea, I was sorry for that move , I will stay with WEBROOT from now on.

I installed Streets and Trips 2009 on a Lenovo S10e netbook for testing. It is running Windows XP with 1.5 GB of ram. Here are a few brief observations:nn-Performance is satisfactory. Routing in real time worked well, there were no complaints.n-As should be expected, the GPS worked best outdoors or in a car. It takes a while to lock, but that is the case with many handheld gps units.n-Screen real estate is at a premium.

I have not used a speech to text product in some time, the last being Dragon Dictate for Windows from a few years back. This is the first version of Dictate for the Mac that I have used, but the products are similar in how they work.
My goal is to have a way of transcribing voice memos I record with my iPhone. I went through the set up procedure, skipping over the part where it asks you to create a nuance account as part of registration (I guess I will be prompted to do this again later).

I have been a user of TurboTax for several years. This release does not offer any ground-breaking changes in functionality. It has the same, familiar interface and guided instruction that has been honed over the years. My needs are relatively simple, no complicated multi-rental properties or other investments. The user has the option of simplifying the process by having Turbotax only present options that it feels are relevant to the preparation of the return, or the user can opt for a more thorough tour of all options (which is what I do).

Talk about mixed feelings. I worked with photos with the program and was very pleased with the eventual results. The program did not crash or anything but for some features when you started it working you could go get a drink and have an conversation before it eventually completed the task. The effects were what I would expect and the results very pleasing… eventually. It performed much better on my higher level computer that I use for programming than it did on the home computer.
