I’ve used Microsoft products for over a decade, and just recently switched to the mac. I couldn’t be happier. iWork too has been a pleasant surprise. It took me literally hundreds of hours of frustration to learn the ins-and-outs of Microsoft Office, and I even took a couple classes in college that dealt with Office. Within two days of using iWork, I was creating the best looking documents I’ve ever made.

The primary reason I switched to the mac about 8 months ago was because Microsoft produces incredibly buggy, terrible software. Unfortunately, I sometimes need to use Microsoft Office, so I got Office for the mac. Office not only sucks on the pc, it sucks on the mac too.
My primary problem today is that it does not play nice with Spaces. My Word document is constantly zooming around to difference Spaces, without my asking it to.

I spent $2,000 on a Dell laptop. Also, I upgraded to Vista Ultimate and Office Ultimate. This software is so damn junky! It doesn’t work! Office works terribly on Vista, constantly freezing and crashing.
After 10 years of PC use, I’ve got an Apple computer coming in the mail right now…. I’m DONE with Microsoft!!

I am not a hardcore video user…. this software is quite comprehensive… did all the simple tasks I needed… for those who require simple task such as copy, change basic formats, its prob. overkill….some day I might get into the more tedious tasks of video, so nice to have some tools on hand…

I have been new at video editing… the number of tools and screens in this products is overwhelming for the novice…but I am slowly hacking away at it. This product sure opens up amazing opportunities for the novice video shooter… very excited with its potential… will update after gaining more experience with it…

First, i am no video expert…photography is my 1st hobby. But we all shoot video, and often need tools to make a final presentation. Its a very complex field vs. single frame photography. So Newbs, beware…there is many lower end, or even freebie programs to get started.nI have used many video editors in the past…and damn, this Pin. 19 is quite intense, hard to fathom all this at such a reasonable price point.

this is great for my Win7 tablet…why? Google maps are not always available where there is no internet connections…. the detail on this map often exceeds that of maps you carry, unless you carry a boat load of maps…. in that regard, this product is nice to have…. but OTOH, its slow, and is a bit quirky…oh well, sort of common today with low volume products….

You need to have some design background, wasn’t my cup of tea, but I don’t blame the software…
