I just purchased this a couple of weeks ago and have been using it at least 4 times a week. Love the voice recorder that lets you see how well your spanish is.
Some of the audio is too fast, but overall this is a great program for the cost!

To be honest, I only bought this version because I updated my computer - but I’m glad I did. The program moves faster - much faster than the 2012 version I had, and it’s much easier to use!

NIS is the best overall product. I’ve tried other stuff, especially when Norton got to bloated a couple years back. But now they do pretty well.
Norton: according to unbiased tests, you need to respond to zero day threats faster. A few of your competitors do a better job than you, and there is no excuse for that given your wide customer base.
I don’t like the goofy white background menus.

don’t be fooled by freebies or the one that comes with the OS. I’ve been using Norton for years and the program is the best.

I like Norton products and use NIS and their utility program, but this program is not supported. proof:nIt is not windows 8 compatible. It rejects the product code and says it lacks drivers to load properly, even after using live update. It doubled Win 8 boot time, and trips up the Metro bypass programs that everyone uses to get the Start button back. Win 8 has been out for 8 months and longer for developers.

I’ve been using Norton products for years, and this is a good program. Although I’ve not had a problem myself, professional reviewer’s critique Norton for needing better zero day identification. I will echo that comment in hopes of an avenue for improvement.

I have been using DNS for almost 20 years, really! I depend on it to type for me. The last two versions cause a hanging problem that Dragon has been incapable of fixing. It is very frustrating. It works fine for a while then hangs/stalls.
The dufuses also put a part of the program in the temp directory. I don’t know if it happens on installation or training. But if you ever clean your disks like you should of cookies, temps, etc, it looses something it needs.

Nuance really needs to update this program!! It’s been almost 3 years since the last version improvement.n I’ve been using Dragon NaturallySpeaking for many years, over 20, and the program still needs a lot of work. I have a real love/hate relationship with it because it makes a lot of stupid mistakes. It still does not take adequate advantage of multi-core CPUs or of vast amounts of memory like it should.
