Kaspersky PURE has a great collection of security tools, get antivirus protection, controls for firewalls and nice remote access for management over a network. Just an all-in-one product. This software will not bog down your PC and just hums along once you have set it up. I love looking in the history files and finding all the things Kaspersky kept from happening (viruses/spam).

If you tend to send a small amount of large files, this may not be for you since the software is licensed for 1-year at a time. And the cost is steep! If this is what you are looking for, it works as advertised. Through a cloud server it allows you to send files up to 2GB.

GUEST REVIEWER - ! MRS. KNOW IT ALL ;-bnnWell, for the money it is a good basic tool to help you learn Spanish vocabulary. I have worked with Rosetta Stone language software and don’t think this is as structured of courses, but for the price, who can complain. This software teaches you the vocabulary and phrases. I did not find the advance conversation lessons to helpful, as I think the samples were talking to quickly—especially if you are someone just learning the language, you need it to be SLOW.

This is a decent security program. Has great security features, such as dialed in WIFI protection for public/campus WIFI and allowing you to fine tune those WIFI connections. Overall the program is easy to use and will protect your computer—but at the cost of being bulking and making your computer run a little slow. I think there are better programs out there that do the same thing and don’t make your computer run slow.

GUEST REVIEWER - ! MRS. KNOW IT ALL ;-bnnThis software upgrades the interface from previous versions—but in a good way, as it is a lot more intuitive. Basically, allowing me to capture, convert and copy digital media is a BIG plus. A nice feature for CD burning, is that it will automatically split up large numbers of songs over multiple CDs without the need for you figuring out how many songs you can actually burn on the disc.

Nice that it comes on a USB to support NetBooks, but still this version is not much of an improvement from last year. There are problems with this product–as it is not as effective as others in it’s antivirus protection (viruses and malware attacks.) The only features that were improved were the parental controls, user interface, and it is easy to install. Which is not enough for me to consider this product.

Guest Reviewer ! MRS. KNOW IT ALL ;-bnnI am having a ball with this software—of course, when I find time. It makes creating and printing cards a breeze. Which comes in handy in today’s economic times–have you seen the price of a Hallmark card lately??? This allows you to present your loved ones something more personal, which I think is more valuable then a purchased card. Don’t think that this is just a card creating program, it can do more, such as creating newsletters and posters, etc.

I am a true fan of Kaspersky especially since they don’t bog down your computer–they are quick to load and VERY easy to use. In the past sometimes when I would load other software, I would then have a problem with my security software.

This version is not much of an improvement from last year. There are problems with this product–as it is not as effective as others in it’s antivirus protection (viruses and malware attacks–missed alot of common virus and malware items during a test.) The only features that were improved were the parental controls, user interface, and it is easy to install. Which is not enough for me to consider this product. Trend Micro needs to improve this product more before I would consider this my only PC security.

Their interfaces are well designed and easy to use for the novice. I enjoyed playing around with the stop-motion, I bet Ray Harryhausen would have loved to have this tool back in the day!!!! Another fun feature is the time-lapse feature—-show hours within minutes.
