Office 2016 by NorthStar
The product itself downloaded easily and works well. It’s not that hard to adjust from Office 2013 to 2016, but I went ahead and got a 2016 guide anyway for those inevitable small changes that sometimes just can’t get around. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because of the increasing demand of personal info just to download and use this product. I like that they want to know how to make the product better but the requests for personal information are starting to get on my nerves.

I have struggled to understand the changes to this software, and its incompatibility with my existing Office 2007 products.n* Excel is difficult to use due to unnecessary changes in the look of the pages, some unnecessary product changes and a plethora of errors that lock up my computer.n* One Note is not a program I would choose to use. There are many ways to track and update your items without using this software.

I’ve been using Open Office because I didn’t have Microsoft Office on my computer and I didn’t want to pay the high price for it. I really like Open Office, but I was wanting to get Excel to help me keep track of something things for tax purposes. I didn’t have a problem downloading it onto my computer, thank goodness. Although this is a great software for keeping track of finances and writing and editing documents, I find that it is a bit more technically challenging than Open Office.

This is the newest version of Office, and does not require annual renewal like Office 365. It does limit you to 1 computer usage, but I think for the price it’s not a bad deal. I removed an older Office version (2013) and installed this version. Installation was easy on my Windows 10 laptop. You do need to download the installer from the Microsoft website. This card basically contains the license you use on the website.

As a user of the most recent upgrade of Microsoft Office Im told (by a pop-up window) I must accept one of two choices before I am allowed to use the software I paid for. Either I must allow Microsoft to fully monitor and report back to Microsoft how I use apps, features, and devices on my computer, or I must agree to allow Microsoft only to basically monitor and report back on Office settings and device capabilities on my computer.

I purchased this for my daughter to use at college and it has all of the essentials you used through high school. There are some cheaper and free alternatives, but this is the real deal and what she wanted for school.
