This is so worth the cost. I am a professional I.T. consultant with over 25 years experience I and cannot tell you how many times I have had to clean up a mess left behind by the free AND pay versions of anti-virus applications such as AVG. Norton Security has a very minimal impact on day-to-day performance of most PCs, works great with Windows 7, 8, and 10, and can even be installed on Android devices.

I am an IT consultant and always recommend Norton Internet Security to my small clients and home users. It has the least impact on your PCs performance, and does a really good job protecting from viruses. Note that it is not designed to protect you from Malware - I recommend that you download the free version of MalwareBytes and run frequent scans (once a week if you are on the internet quite often).

An upgrade from a very old version of QuickBooks went very easily. Only the database file was still available, so I don’t know what version of the old QuickBooks was, but it went very quickly and without headaches.

.nI used PaintShop Pro v4.12 for many years. Love it! But the modern PSP versions, including this current X4 version, seem bloated and hassle-prone. Powerful features…yes, but for basic everyday photo and paint work…it’s like driving an RV to the grocery store. After trying the free 30-day trial version of PSP X4, I found Paint. NET. Lean, clean and intuitive. Also zippy. Enough features for the serious amateur, usually. Paint. NET is freeware…donation supported.

I have used H&R Block’s tax software every year since 2004. It’s always adequate and slightly annoying. There are always a few poorly worded parts, even though most of it is excellent. The amazon price bounces around between 19 and 39 buckss between late January and April. I do 3 tax returns with it. Good value!nn** Update 2-10-2010; I find the 2009 version clearer and cleaner than prior years. Very few annoyances on my moderately complex return.

.nA clever, fun and affordable program that got me introduced to computer animation. There is now a newer Version 9. Not much I can add to the in-depth reviews already posted for this software. If you get hooked, you’ll want the Pro version.

I had no problem downloading this software and it was cheaper to purchase it from Amazon then anywhere else I searched, even with a coupon from Quicken. The software works great and is easty to use and helps me keep track of my money.

Ordered this product and had no problem downloading it. It is great protection and keeps me updated on necessary updates to keep the computer up to date.

I have always used TurboTax and have downloaded it from Amazon for the past few years and never had a problem till now. I was finishing up my return and was asked to update the software. It asked to save my return before updating. I tried to save my return which it would not do. It also would not update. I got numerous errors. I closed the software and lost all my information.
