I have an 8 year old computer that I put this on and this software installed like a dream. In case you don’t have a dvd, they give you a link to download from, and then you could use the product key that comes with it.nActivation was not an issue for me - it went quickly and there was nothing to fill out as I already have a LiveID. (I have had to call with some MS products before and it drives me crazy!

I was pretty enthusiastic about this product at first. Their free antivirus has pretty good reviews, though I’d not tried it myself. If I had it to do over, I’d probably try the free version before installing this full suite to see if there were problems with any of my applications. I had a lot of problems with Magic Jack and this program. It installed very easily. It did offer to install a browser toolbar - the Avira SearchFree Toolbar.

Recently my husband’s pc started sounding like an airplane taking off and I suspected he had a virus. I installed Bitdefender Total Security on his computer and had no problems at all with installation. The installation, activation, and update process all went very smoothly, even with the performance issues on the pc. There is one other antivirus product that I has a good bit less overhead, but this is not nearly as bad a resource hog as some of the biggest names that often come ‘free’ with your cable connection.

It installed quickly and easily. It opens fast and runs very well on this fairly new, but low end e-machine. I am SO impressed by the quality of tutorials on this software, and the fact that they are FREE. They really add to the value of this program!nnMy husband is a housing designer by profession, and he usually uses Autocad. He was impressed with this program. He says that it does a LOT that he does everyday but a lot easier.

I don’t really like this program. It does work, it’s just not for me.nFirst off, it installs easily enough, and quickly, on Win 7. Installation was no problem.nI was then presented with an options menu. I really didn’t quite understand enough ABOUT the program to really set any options, so I thought I’d just start the program.nI was forced to watch a movie on posture and fingering. I suppose if I’d known better I could have turned it off in options, but I’m not the type to study a program before I use it.

I installed this computer on a low end 64bit Windows 7 System. It installed very quickly and without any issues. Registration is voluntary. There’s no books or anything that came with the disk, but you don’t need them. It is VERY intuitive. All you really need are your passwords to sites like Facebook, Youtube, ect. The program will do all your uploading for you when provided your credentials.nNow this is NOT super-options galore, whiz-bang, put-stars-in-their-eyes software, but what it does it is very good at for a product in this price range - it helps you do all the most basic, often used photo corrections - such as cropping, red-eye, straightening, and adjusting brightness and contrast.

I’d really wanted to use this on my Acer Netbook, so I could find a quiet place to compose stories using it. My big computer is in a noisy part of the house. It really needs 2 gigs of memory to function well. I installed it anyway, though the machine only has 1.5 gigs after the maximum upgrade. It works fine. I have a Southern voice and there’s an option to start off with a Southern recognition baseline.

I’ve used quickbooks before, and some open source accounting software, and found this easier to install, but it is a very comprehensive package. It comes with several sample companies that you can study or use to base your own company’s files on. There are also video tutorials to get you started. I found them helpful. More training is provided at a cost, but for basic accounting I can’t see a need for it.

This is a bundle of 5 license for Norton Internet Security, which you can choose to use on either computers or mobile devices. It gives you the ability to add seats, at about 40-$50 each. As your count increases the TINY volume discount kicks in, but over 25 seats and you have to call. The product itself is nice, with a lot of the management features moved to the Norton site, so that the admin can log into their account, check devices installed, send invites, renew and manage product license.

Out of the box and had PDFs converted in less than 15 minutesnnI love when this happens! I wasn’t too sure about this product – that it would be really great at converting PDFs any better than the previous OCR software I’ve used. My concerns were put to rest quickly. The software loaded quickly;I tested my own PDF and it converted in to a Word doc perfectly including the images and links.
