My version of Microsoft Office is quite outdated so when I was offered a copy of WordPerfect Office X7 to review, I decided to give it a try. I found the interface to be fairly intuitive and very similar to what I am accustomed to in MS Office. I liked the fact that I can import Microsoft documents into WordPerfect. Unfortunately for some reason it refuses to import one document I use almost daily although it will import a similar file.

I have used Word Perfect in the past, and now I look forward to X7 Home and Student by Corel. It’s a quicker text printing program than Word. You can get in and out without a lot of study.

I didn’t notice many things that have changed over the previous version, but it does add support for file formats that weren’t previously supported. It’s still hard in this day and age to fork over this kind of money for a word processor when Microsoft and Apple are now giving away theirs for free, but if you’ve been a fan of WordPerfect in the past, you likely still will be. The comfortable old interface is still here and it still works great.

WordPerfect Office X7 is a word processing suite that will be instantly familiar to users of Microsoft Office Word. It has the same functions as Word in an easy-to-use package that serves as a solid alternative to Word. My teenager found it quite invaluable when typing up reports and notes for his classes, and it had the capability to save in a format that could also be used by Word.

The software continues to remain the midground between the high priced Microsoft offering and the free office suite offered by Open Office. I have this installed on my daughter’s laptop and she is using it for the things she writes. So far, she is pleased with it.

If you want to get a job working in an office, you really need to know how to use this program. It’s fairly simple to learn and the results are amazing. There are a lot of uses for this both at home and the office. It works fine on xp and can be put on 3 computers. I really like it that documents can be turned into pdf files. These are so much easier to read and send than regular files and look really professional.

We’ve used Word Perfect since its very beginning and cannot fully explain what a blessing it has been in our life of writing and editing. Truly the greatest invention since sliced bread. Don’t turn on your computer without it. What more can we say. It is word PERFET.

I loved this product! It was simple and very easy to use, install and even update! I was looking for a good replacement for my Microsoft Word software which has gotten extremely expensive in the years past so I was happy to see a similiar product for a cheaper cost! I love it! Once again, Corel has hit it out of the park!
