For those who have the software and like printing their own checks, it is hard to beat this huge pack of check paper. For a laser printer, they work well with the correct software. They do not have pictures on them, as I feared. Instead, they are just blank pages with a nice subtle bank-like non-forgery design on the whole page.

Unlike some reviewers I had no problems installing or running any part on Windows 7 64bit. Everything worked well and was very easy to follow and fill in. I completed every document as well as the Living Will without a hitch. Yes, you can only have access to the Living Will for two years and make changes for only one year, but considering the cost of this entire package, compared to a lawyer’s fees, how can anyone complain!

I have used Photoshop in the past, as well as, Paint Shop Pro (for PC only, unfortunately), Elements and Adobe Lightroom. What I keep looking for is something as good and inexpensive as Paint Shop Pro is, but for the Mac. If I could afford Photoshop, that would end my search.
I can’t tell you if Pixelmator would be a good replacement for my old version of Elements because I had such a hard time trying to do even simple photo manipulation.

I’ve been using Office for over a decade, and Office 2008 is a big change (for me) from the old menus and layout, but I was able to make the adjustment pretty well after using it for a while. I know Microsoft thinks they are helping people with these changes, but they have to take into consideration how many of us have been using Office forever, and maybe offer two different menu layouts: classic and new.

My step-son is an artist, and this tool kept him busy for hours, and taught him a LOT about using computer tools to create art. He has since moved on to professional drawing software, but Painter was the tool that showed him you could create real works of art on a computer.

I purchased Webroot Security Software based on a good review by PC Magazine–big mistake! Although it doesn’t take up much space on your computer it slows it down big time. The time when I noticed it most was when I would surf the Web. This happened on all three of the computers we installed it on–two of them are pretty new.
Web pages would take literally 30 seconds to load and they would freeze until they were processed by Webroot’s firewall.

Awful…glad to be done with this. All the time I was getting warnings about malicious threats from Kaspersky, only to find out that it could not block or eliminate the malicious threat. It’s kind of like hiring a policeman who let’s all the criminals go by but tells you about all the criminal activity. Worthless!nnNot to mention, Kaspersky is a Russian company and I frankly don’t trust Russia and especially Putin.

One hour hold time to speak with tech support, unacceptable, and the software seems buggy
