I had some performance issues with the previous version of this product, but I was pleasantly surprised with this version. There are still some slow spots but definitely an improvement. Painter is certainly different from most other paint programs I’ve used and is geared towards the digital artist. I’m definitely not in that category, and often have trouble choosing color sets due to color blindness. Having said that, I was able to create some passable mountain scenes that made me feel like Bob Ross.

Installing Kaspersky was mostly uneventful, however, it did require me to uninstall Spybot first (which seemed strange to me – but not as strange as Spybot’s response to being uninstalled). During the installation it did an update which took roughly an hour.
After that, it bacame mostly invisible. I haven’t noticed any performance issues, and have been been pleased with this product.
I cannot say how well it is working, because there has been no virus alerts.

I love the Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional. I think it manages all the things I have to do and it does it perfectally well. If you have a Pentium 4 and have this OS it is really a good combination. If you have a Pentium through Pentium III you really might want to think about XP because it does make it run a little bit faster. I love the applications this version has.

This is the newest version of Microsoft Office. I think this is the best also because they have added programs that you couldn’t get with 2000 or XP. They include:nnMicrosoft Word 2003nnMicrosoft Outlook 2003 with Business Contact ManagernnMicrosoft Excel 2003nnMicrosoft Access 2003nnMicrosoft PowerPoint 2003nnMicrosoft Publisher 2003nnWord 2003 has really improved and it has much more fonts than the older versions. I love PowerPoint now and I use it a lot with work and just sometimes to fool around with.

This is such a good operating system. I did like the Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar and there really isn’t too much changes from that to this one. I think this version beats Windows XP Professional and Home Edition. It’s so easy to browse through menus. Everything is right there too and you really don’t have to go deep into the system to find just one thing. I really do like Microsoft Office though.
