A very well designed software tool for the creative folks out there. This product fits a niche that I imagine many of were looking for. For many if not all of us, we start off our ideas with sketching. It only seems natural for that to graduate towards being digital. Sure we’ll still doodle on napkins and receipts, but our real design efforts can be more readily imagined at our desktops.

VISTA is appropriated named. VISTA defines something great to look at. If all you did was look at Microsoft Vista it would be the perfect operating system indeed. Unfortunately Vista is a computer operating system that was designed to be used and there is the problem. Vista is so secure and so over burdened with layers upon burdensome processor power robbing layer of sheer garbage it is rendered totally completely and utterly useless.

I’ve enjoyed using this product for safer surfing. Installation was easy and straight-forward. It did ask to uninstall SpyBot S&D, which I obliged, though not convinced it mattered. In the past, I have not had any problem with Spybot S&D running with different antivirus programs. Coming off of Bit Defender, I found the Trend Micro interface to be much simpler to navigate and use. Of course, somewhat less options are available to make that interface more user friendly.

I did test out the free phone support offered with this version. I called 4⁄14, and was told the wait would be >1.5 hours. So much for priority phone support, I thought. But, the automated menu gives you the option to leave a number for a call back later. I left my number, and YES, I got a call back 1:18 later from a real nice guy. I don’t know if he was a CPA, or just trained in tax prep, but he was reasonably knowledgeable.

Old version. Not a terribly relevant product now with the popularity of smart phone and expanding internet cell coverage with free access to really good maps from other companies.

Easy to install and has not crashed my computer so far. The interface is pretty simple and easy to use. Doesn’t seem to use too many resources. No problems with malware so far, at least as far as I can tell. I like link protectors so you don’t accidentally go to a suspicious website, but this product is their more basic version, so doesn’t provide for one. If your computer can handle it (i.

Rather than post a review right away, I decided to load up the program and run it awhile, seeing what kind of things it might find and whether I got more computer glitches. Well, the program was easy to install. It sits in the right hand tray and is easy to access. I haven’t found any incompatibilities with my other programs or computer function. Doesn’t seem to hog resources and scans my computer quickly.

If your not familiar with one of the only great products from Microsoft, you won’t learn anything here. I upgraded my mac to Mavericks and had to part with Office for Mac 2004. Some changes I did not like but in time I got used to them

Just too weird. Issues with everything. I had to bite the dust and buy Office for Mac from Microsoft. This might be okay for geeks that don’t care what their output looks like, but it is not for me. You get what you pay for

If you have ilife 06 then you may want to read a more in depth review then I can offer. If you have ilife 08 or none then this might be a good purchase. Having gone from ilife 06 to ilife 09, the differences were more then just an annoyance in any learning curve. I generally only use iPhoto, iMovie and iDvd. iPhoto has gotten a bit more annoying with features that I would never use.
