I installed this computer on a low end 64bit Windows 7 System. It installed very quickly and without any issues. Registration is voluntary. There’s no books or anything that came with the disk, but you don’t need them. It is VERY intuitive. All you really need are your passwords to sites like Facebook, Youtube, ect. The program will do all your uploading for you when provided your credentials.nNow this is NOT super-options galore, whiz-bang, put-stars-in-their-eyes software, but what it does it is very good at for a product in this price range - it helps you do all the most basic, often used photo corrections - such as cropping, red-eye, straightening, and adjusting brightness and contrast. It lets you put together good looking, functional video and slide presentations with basic transitions and music. Adding music is extremely easy, just import the file.nThen it uploads those to social networking sites if you want it to. Be patient when you first do this, it takes these sites sometimes 5 minutes or so before your media is available. That’s true no matter what software you do or don’t use. I like that this software also lets you convert between popular file types.
It is extremely intuitive and I think most users will be able to use it with very little ‘figure it out time.‘nnPrivacy wise, some might balk at giving Media Expressions access to their Facebook posts, photos, ect., but you can always just save your pictures and video and then upload it yourself and avoid that if it bothers you. Rendering the videos takes some time, so if you’ve never done it, be patient. Even the high dollar software and expensive computers take rendering time.
