This is the third typing program I’ve used. The first was Mavis Teaches Typing 18 and a couple of years later I tried Typing Instructor Platinum. where you get to travel the world and select your own music choice, including silence. All three of these are highly rated and rightly so. Your favorite will really depend on your learning style. Both Mavis 18 and Typing Instructor have various games whereas this one is more practical and is the one I prefer. Also this one has 18 videos to watch and the trendy UltraKey. I liked the video feature a lot. Did I have improvement after the initial 8 hours of training? Actually mine was a bit longer, and yes, I did show some improvement. I enjoyed the process well enough to continue practicing until I hopefully stop several bad typing habits that are deeply ingrained in my fingers and eyes. I may even decide to hunt for the other two just for variety’s sake now that I’m in a sincere retraining mode.
