While the 2012 version of QB for Mac is an incremental improvement, it still does not come close to the functionality and ease of use of the Windows version of the program. Intuit continues to struggle with its Mac line of products. For now, I will continue to use Parallels and the Windows version of QB. I recommend that serious business owners stick with the Windows version for now. But if you’re just a hobbyist with a light recreational income, this version may suffice. On a side note, I did try to use this as a quicken-replacement program, but it really was just too big and complex for that.
