This is a great program for someone who wants to learn Italian (I also have the Spanish version). It’s really user friendly and easy to understand. You get a software CD, DVD, and an MP3 CD you can listen, so you can pretty much learn anywhere, in front of your computer, watching TV, taking a walk with your Ipod, in the car …

The program offers three different levels to learn, you can advance at your own speed.

Though I’ve not used the Rosetta Stone programs, I imagine this is as comprehensive for a fraction of the price. I bought the Spanish version for my daughter because she was taking Spanish class at school. It really helped.

Highly recommend.
