Ok, so I am not a big fan of security software for PC’s because normally it bogs the system down. This particular software from McAfee seems to actually do a pretty decent job at protecting the user on the internet and I like the simplicty of it. HOWEVER, what I hate is that you have to register to use this software, that really is typical these days but the thing that I really don’t like is there is an auto renew option that is selected during the installation, if you don’t catch that then you won’t catch the next option where it installs a lot of extra junk on your system that you may not want. This software works, it will protect your PC and for the value it’s not bad considering for the price you get protection on 3 computers. BUT, I really despise the practice of tag-along software, just install what I bought don’t try to download or install extra stuff, don’t try to renew my subscription before I even get the chance to use the software. When my license is up, remind me before it expires and let me decide then if your software provided the value and is something I want to continue.
