Painter was, and in my opinion, remains the standard for computer drawing programs. It has an immense and sometimes confusing number of options – which means it’s worth a time investment (maybe even a class) to really get this under your belt. But, the results are nothing short of amazing. I use it for story-boarding films, and it’s up to the task. This is an older version, so do make sure it’s compatible with your Mac OS version and Mac.
