After trying - and liking - Pinnacle Studio 17, I was looking forward to giving Studio 17 Plus a try. But there have been too many frustrations in just getting it up and running to really enjoy it.nAs many others have pointed out, installation takes HOURS, a process that data mines every media file on your computer (with no way to opt out). I work in the news media and have literally thousands and thousands of media files on my computer and no, I do not need to get bogged down in every file I ever processed each time I want to create something new. The learning curve is steep on this - the user interface is not particularly intuitive or user friendly.nAnd as others have noted, be sure to check that your computer meets the minimum system requirements or your experience will prove even more frustrating. I’ll keep at this for another month or so and update if something changes but as of now, this is too frustrating for all but the most die hard video editors.
