Seems these days software that once did only one and one thing good is now morphing into an all in one kitchen sink or swiss knife.nSo you not only get a cd/dvd program now but a media player, photo editor, video editor, backup program, recoding program. I probably missed something since there is so much here.nThe blu-ray player is always useful since Windows doesn’t ship with one and I’ve used Nero recode for years to get movies onto my iPod and now iPad.nSo it’s worth getting for just these programs. Nero recode still makes use of your GPU to speed up encoding of video to save you time, one of the reasons I started using it years ago, and comes with presets for iPod, iPhone,etc…nOne thing I didn’t like is that even though it comes with a disc to install the software it still makes you connect to the Internet to activate so it won’t work if you’re Internet’s not working like mine wasn’t a while back.
