First off, I must say that the installation too some time to install, even with my new SD drive installed. it took maybe like an hour or so. But that is understandable, especially when you are dealing with an almost full suite of tools that Pinnacle has to offer.

This is a pretty robust video editing software that has a lot of effects, background titles etc, in fact over 1800+ that you can choose from. You can also choose the types of transitions such as fades and dissolves etc to go from one scene to another.

The interface is a very clean, sharp look, with a professional looking black/grey background, with tabs that guides the user for editing the video or project. The one thing I like is that different media files can go into the Pinnacle Studio 17 plus and you can correct the source media.

You can also organize, tag and categorize all the media files, including music files, in the library and click and drag the files to create new projects or open existing projects in a systematic way.

It is integrated with cloud access, so no matter where you are you will still be able to do your editing and especially so if you are traveling and really want to share the videos on facebook etc. with friends as quickly as possible. :)nnIt however, does not support 4K videos but in general, this works well for a non-professional, hobbyist.
