Cyberlink PowerDirector is the first video-editing software I’ve used. It has a moderate learning-curve, but I found it navigable and useable after a few hours of playing around.nIt’s a highly-customizable and powerful software package. I could see using it for minor undertakings, like personal YouTube videos, and for more professional/academic applications. It’s very versatile and employs a drag-and-drop interface.
PowerDirector can export its videos in multiple formats, including MP2, avi, wma, and QuickTime. It encodes and exports videos quickly.
