I’m new to design programs so it takes me a while to get a feel for them. I first tried to figure this program out by noodling around for a while but soon realized that I was just wasting time as I was getting nowhere fast. So, I watched the tutorial videos that can be accessed on-line and found them very helpful. However, I had to watch each one several times while going back and forth between the tutorial and my actual page to really understand what the tutorial was talking about. The tutorials gave me a very good idea of how to get started using the included templates. I was able to understand how to manipulate templates in order to design the documents I liked, but I really needed the tutorials to get started.
I realize that this program is rather extensive and it will take me a lot of practice and experimentation to reap the full benefit of it. It reminded me of the days I spent trying to understand a powerful music composition program I needed to use to create detailed musical compositions. It was rather exhaustive but worth the effort to learn it. Therefore, I have respect for this program and look forward to creating various documents of all sorts as I can see that there is a lot to this program. I must restate that I am basically a novice when it comes to design and print programs but I have a good impression about this one. I have tried other such programs before only to be sufficiently baffled and gave up. This one peaks my curiosity and I look forward to expressing my creative side with it!nnNOTE: While loading this program I failed to check the box asking if I wanted a desktop icon to be added. When I tried to locate the program I had to dig through the bowels of my computer to find it and my attempt at making a shortcut failed. I uninstalled the program then reinstall it remembering to check the icon box. It was a bother but I feel it was my mistake to begin with.
