Wow. This program is similar to what professional designers, renovators, and landscapers use. It’s not for the faint of heart though. You’re going to need a powerful PC. It says it’s okay for XP and Vista, but I wouldn’t want to run anything other than Windows 7 on it. Also, it takes up 6 GB of disk space and needs 2 GB of memory. I suggest more. You’re probably going to be frustrated if you try to run this on an older PC.

There is also a learning curve. There is so much to this program that it will probably take considerable time before you get the hang of it. But once you do, it’s fun, instructive, and will inspire you with great ideas.

The program is divided into Home Design, Interior Design, Remodeling, Decks & Landscaping, and Kitchens & Baths. It not only will help you design but will also provide cost estimates. You can use templates or come up with your own designs. It includes instructional videos. It’s truly one of the most amazing programs I’ve seen.
