I am a longtime Quicken user, and I tend to skip upgrading every year because to me the features added each year are seldom significant and the software to me is a bit over-priced. My current product is 2011, and after backing up the account, I easily installed this on a new computer, importing my old Quicken account file and all of my transactions. The entire process took less than 20 minutes. The next step, linking my personal Quicken file to my bank account was quite simple with the wizard. Everything looks and functions much the same as my old Quicken 2011.
I like Quicken because it is easy to use and account and transaction management is very basic. This product is too. If you want to organize your finances and you are computer saavy, Quicken is a must have feature.
In all honestly, I do think that it is a touch over-priced, and I do not like the fact that the software constantly nags you to upgrade. For me- it is unnecessary to upgrade every year.
Still, this is an excellent product and a good basic.
