If you have a need for MS Office on multiple (up to three) computers in a household, this can be a good deal depending on the price. The price varies with this product, so it is worth checking from time to time.

Even though the product is shipped on the included optical media, it works best to have a good high speed broadband connection to download the large amount of updates that are recommended by Microsoft. Alternatively, you can skip the optical disk and download directly. I’ve done both. In either case, you receive a key to enable the software.

The contents include Word, Excel, Powerpoint (the three most useful products for me) and Onenote (which I don’t use). These should be good enough for most home users.
