After TurboTax’s pricing and feature faux pas a couple of years ago I’ve used HRBlock. It seems to do the job but the 2015 edition seemed to have some minor but annoying issues.n-More than once I found nothing when doing a search on a specific topic but then stumbled upon the exact issue when manually plowing through the user guides. This looks like poor indexing or bad logic in their search engine. In general their website based search engine produced inadequate results. Seemed the database was incredibly limited for H&R Block, considering their business model - doing taxes. Go try and find details about selling an inherited property and you might find a reference to a 1099-S but try and go to that form in the Deluxe edition and it is not listed at all. I found a series of in-program links that talked how to do it but it wasn’t an intuitive path and can’t find it again.n-Another annoyance is the continual thrusting of state income tax activity in your face when I live in a state with NO income tax. The program should skip those parts with a verifying question at the beginning.n-The final annoyance is the accuracy check that will point you to something that may or may not be an error but offers no clear way to mark it as not an error. So every time you run the check the same flags pop up.
