I am 85% unfamiliar with all photo editing / manipulating software on the market. Yes, I’ve used it, but no I can’t seem to do anything cool with it beyond cropping and resizing as needed. It’s not that I’m computer illiterate, just that I have less artistic talent than most folks have in their toe nail.
This being said, I have successfully edited about a dozen photos with this and have really enjoyed myself and the results. I was able to change the color of a flower in one (this is a big deal for me, don’t laugh) and straighten out some self-timer vacation photos that came out lopsided (also very exciting).
I feel that the layout and format of the interface is user friendly and makes it easy to find tools and options in a logical manner. It was easy to use the automatic adjustments they have included in the software and I feel they do create decent looking adjustments to most of the pictures with which I tried it.
I feel that this would be good for the serious scrap-booker or other hobbyist who needs to worry about the final quality of pictures. It would also be a great introduction program for budding photographers who aren’t wanting to drop an entire part-time paycheck on software.
