Fast delivery and easy installation on my old XP PC. It looked up my old TurboTax Deluxe files. Everything looking good so far but my wife and I still haven’t received all our tax statements from our retirement funds so we still have to wait awhile to really get into filing. Will update this review after everything is finished. PS. the price ($22) was GREAT compared to last years (and this years) TurboTax.

Update 4/11/2015: Just finished completing and getting this years taxes filed successfully. While there were no serious problems, the first time I filed, the filing was rejected by a simple error in the wife’s filing PIN number which was originally supplied by the program. Had to get a new Federal Pin no. online and refile the entire thing again. The second filing was accepted but I had to jump through hoops with the process simply because the programs instructions were frequently erroneous, misleading or went nowhere causing a LOT of retracing and reentering of data and re-reading of instructions that I had to eventually print out because of the circles that I was lead in while attempting to get the process to work. The entire process took me about 2 ¹⁄₂ hours to get a successful resubmission.

I am using this software this year because of the bad changes in Turbo-Tax Deluxe for this year which ticked me off no end!. However, I see where TT has acknowledged their mistakes and is offering free fixes and a promise to restore everything that they messed up to tick so many people off. If this proves to be viable, I may return to TT next year simply because of it’s straightforward and easy to understand simplicity. At least, TT, in all the years that I used it, never caused me so much heartburn in just simply getting things properly filed.
