I set this up on my computer and I think that having everything at hand’s length is great for someone who is new to the game. It is definitely overwhelming when you first dip your toe in - to see all the information that is out there, and if you get a hit right away, forget it - you are hooked. That makes the initial 6 months free all worth it for the subscription.

Anyway - My step-dad started poking around with it on the computer - he’s now if full ancestor mode, and he’s found relatives in New York he didn’t know about - an uncle, I believe - and they are sharing pictures. It is wonderful to see the amazement on his face.

I think a trip to Germany is in the offing for the parents next :)
