I don’t think there’s much I can add to the other reviewers here–there’s lots of vocab, but not a lot of grammar. The option to listen to vocab lists on an MP3 player is nice and convenient and lets me review while driving. The flash cards are good reinforcement. I’m not finished with the whole set yet, but even when I get there, I’m certainly not going to be fluent–that’s impossible, but I think this would be a great companion to a Spanish class. I don’t think there is enough grammar to be a stand-alone course, though–I’d like to see more grammar lessons.

Bottom line: if you are trying to learn Spanish, go ahead and give this a try–at this cost you don’t have much to lose!
