I’ve used Microsoft’s OS’s for a while now from XP all the way through 8. XP was great and so was 7 but now that 8 is out my new PC I bought this past summer unfortunately had it preinstalled which I wasn’t very happy about. I don’t know whose idea at Microsoft it was to think that Windows 8 would be more popular over XP and 7 because it is total garbage!!! This PC has already been in for service once, nothing found wrong with it even though there clearly is and now I have to take it in again because of more problems it’s having. The MAIN problem is the operating system installed on it! I am SO tempted to just start using my 7-year old MacBook again for everything as well as my 2-year old ASUS that HAS Windows 7 Ultimate installed (tat has NOT had a hardware problem since I’ve owned it) and just bury this Windows 8 laptop PC in a closet and forget about it. Not only is 8 garbage, but it has a lot of similarities to Windows Vista–which was also garbage! Needless to say, this may be the last PC I ever buy and the last Windows OS I ever use!
