This office suite installs from a DVD, so if you don’t have one, this version isn’t for you. Even with the DVD in the computer you still have to enter the lengthy serial number, which is on the DVD sleeve. Installation went smoothly on my windows 7 laptop. The only separate install is the photo editing software, which you don’t have to install. It didn’t have an additional serial number, so installing was fast and easy.nThis is a full suite, including a basic photo editing software. It gives you the option to assign all you MS office extensions to these apps, including PDFs. Beside the major apps, word processing, spreadsheet, ebook publisher, etc, there is something called lightening which is a note taking app. You can save images and text from just about anywhere, and store them for use in the other apps.nEver since MS office went to the ribbon I’ve struggled with finding features, WordPerfect Office I find much easier to use and way more intuitive.
