The new software is easy to install but Microsoft has locked it down so that you will only be able to activate it on 1 pc. If you need to install it on a different pc that you own, you must call in and get a confirmation number and then the previous pc’s copy will be inactivated. Also, I had to allow the 2016 Microsoft app to disable my 2013 Office in order to install the 2016 version. The new software will not currently work if you don’t allow Microsoft to disable your older version. I am not sure if this is reversible without a fresh install of your earlier Office version so be careful.
