This is a highly functional accounting software designed to do both cash based and accrual accounting. It is more than sufficient for small businesses and probably ideal for businesses with less than 100 employees. But please note, this particular version is only for a single computer (non Client-Server). If you want a scalable solution that can handle multiple connections in a client-server environement, this product is not the answer.

Its main drawback is its speed. I installed it on my laptop (Intel Dual core 2.0Ghz, 2GB of memory, and 7200 rpm hard drive), and the speed of transactions are noticeably lagging. It is, however, still very much usable.

Its best feature is its intuitive GUI. Clearly, the GUI was designed to meet the needs of accountants and non-accountants alike. If you are an accountant who likes to use journal entries to balance debits and credits, you can do so. If you don’t know the difference between debit and credit, then you will still be able to do basic accounting with this software.
